Research Management Division

The Research Management Division promotes fisheries stock assessment projects, manages project budgets, survey and research plans, meetings, and reviews by external experts in order to conduct global standard stock assessments that are independent of government and industry, and ensure objectivity and transparency during all processes, from survey planning and data collection to data analysis. It is also important that the fisheries industry stakeholders and the general public understand the stock assessments, the Research Management Division publishes results of the stock assessments and related investigations as clearly as possible.
